A "wire" in the editor can represent a single-bit wire or a muliple-bit wire (a wire bundle). Wire bundles can be unbundled into multiple single wires or arbitrary smaller wire bundles. Likewise single wires and small wire bundles can be bundled into a single larger wire bundle.
